Bwera Hospital in Kasese district is to receive three hundred million shillings for the construction of a neonatal Intensive care unit at the health facility, Mr. Erifaz Muhindi, the Kasese district local council five chairperson has said.
According to Mr. Muhindi, he has already signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Japanese government, the funder and Baylor- Uganda, the project implementation partner.
Addressing the local leaders of Kisinga sub-county, Mr. Muhindi said the project like many others in Kasese district, was a clear indication of the government commitment to save the lives of her citizens.

Earlier, Mr. Muhindi, a graduate of public health asked the local population to be conscious of what they eat and drink, most of which either guarantee or compromise their health. END
