Mr. Agavito Bwambale is the newly elected Pastoral council chairman for Bukangara Parish in the Diocese of Kasese, with a call on elected leaders to promote the values and teachings of the Catholic Church.
Speaking to our reporter, Ms Constance Bukuthu days after the elections early this week, Rev. Fr. Modesto Masereka Kasenyangwe on behalf of the Parish Priest, called for focus, hard work, unity and faithfulness among the council members he said should link the Parish leadership and the lay faithful. In his maiden speech, Mr. Agavito, called for team work and prayers to the council members he asked to serve than to be served as a principle to guide the Christians into the spiritual and physical developments.

Mr. Peter Sunday Kakule, the newly elected Parish head of Justice and Peace Commission, who doubles as the Nyakiyumbu subcounty Chairperson, asked political leaders and the Commission members to use their positions to promote peace and unity as tools for development.
