The body of the late Chief Executive officer for Foundation for Urban and Rural Advancement-FURA, Mr. Reuben Mbauta has this evening been transported to his ancestral home in Matere Village in Mahango Sub County in Kasese district for burial tomorrow.
Mr. Mbauta 53 and a former Rwenzururu Kingdom Minister succumbed to internal organ related illnesses at Mt. St. Mary`s yesterday.
The shocked, Mr. Crispus Mbauta, the young brother to the deceased told mourners at their home in Katadoba that his late elder brother woke up strong to chair a tourism expo meeting at Shilo Gardens, later relocated for a Rwenzori International University launch at their campus where he reportedly collapsed and later pronounced dead at Mt. In her address at the deceased`s home before the body was taken to St. Paul`s Cathedral for requiem service this afternoon, Rev. Betty Mbambu Mwero, the Assistant Cathedral Sub Dean asked mourners to bank in the Lord because like the late Mbauta, their lives on earth are short-lived. Rev Betty speaking…..
Ms Rebecca Kabanyoro, a FURA board member described the late Mbauta partly as a community solution against unemployment and under deployment.
