The bodies of at least 28 migrants have been recovered from a mass grave in a desert in south-east Libya, the country’s attorney general said.
The grave was discovered north of Kufra, just days after another mass grave with 19 bodies was found on a farm in the same city.
Meanwhile, the first president of independent Namibia, Sam Nujoma, has died at the age of 95 in the capital Windhoek, the country’s current leader, President Nangolo Mbumba, has announced.
Mr. Nujoma led the long fight for independence from South Africa in 1990 after helping found Namibia’s liberation movement known as the South West Africa People’s Organization in the 1960s. END
