The national coordinator of the Democratic Alliance, Hon. Mathias Mpuuga has accused Mr. Robert Kyagulanyi, the president of the National Unity Platform of rallying individuals to speak poorly of him.
While appearing on a Television station in Kampala today, Rt. Hon. Mpuuga, a former Leader of the Opposition alleges that Mr. Kyagulanyi organized people for a month to disparage him in his constituency of Nyendo-Mukungwe municipality.
MR. Mpuga who questioned why Kyagulanyi did not use the same effort to hold a rally against the Electoral Commission, claims to have restrained himself from discussing certain matters and individuals but accused his former party, NUP, of individually contacting MPs to portray him as a bad person.
