Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku, the Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese has raised concern over the erosion of family dignity in Kasese, citing challenges such as poor childcare, rising domestic violence and immoral acts.
Delivering his Christmas message at his Office today in Kasese town, Bishop Nason emphasized the increasing strain on families, which he said threatens their stability and values.
The bishop expressed particular worry over the lack of proper parental guidance in many households, which he said leaves children unsupported and improperly nurtured.
Bishop Nason urged Parents to educate their children, engage in commercial farming and business, if they are to overcome challenges in families in 2025.

Bishop Nason, concluded his message by encouraging Christians to reflect on the values of love, respect, and dignity within families, calling on everyone to work collectively toward building stronger households and a more harmonious society.
