The office of the Bishop Diocese of Kasese has this evening issued out ten standard operating procedures for the local churches in the diocese to meet ahead of reopening.

This follows the Sunday presidential communication for the churches to start convening prayers for worshippers not exceeding seventy people at ago as well as meeting covid-19 SOPs.

While speaking to our reporter this evening in his office at the diocesan administration houses in Kasese town, the Diocesan Vicar General Msgr Landaus Bwambale on behalf of the Bishop, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira asked the lay leaders and Christians to work closely with the Parish Priests and catechist in ensuring they meet all the standard operating procedure before reopening.

Fr. Landaus added that all churches in the diocese are asked to meet the following among others. Msgr Landaus explains…….

He then reminded Christians that Covid-19 is real thus asking for adherence to ministry of health guidelines against this deadly pandemic. ENDS
