No recommendation to any minor seminarian intending to join a major Seminary should he fail to correctly answer questions by the Bishop on catechism, the Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale has said.
In his Homily while presiding over Holy Mass for the blessing of St. Andrew Kiburara Roman Catholic Church as Eucharistic Center and confirming over 300 Christians into the catholic church yesterday, Bishop Kibira asked parents and guardians to fulfil the vows made before the Alter to practically turning their homes into the first churches to guide their families spiritually.
Bishop Kibira who asked the St. John’s Minor Seminary-Kiburara to organize special catechism lessons in the local languages for Seminarians, said he is to test them on Catechism before recommending them to National Major Seminaries. Bishop Kibira speaking …..
The Prelate later encouraged grandparents to instil the norms and values of the Catholic Church among their grandchildren as instructed by Pope Francis, before asking family heads to practice Biblical Catechism that includes reciting the Rosary together with their family members back home.
