The ordinary of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale has challenged Christians to emulate late Msgr. Augustino Muhindo, “known as Kithabutsunde” whom he described, as pillar of priesthood, education and social economic transformation in Kasese district.
Late Msgr. Muhindo who was the first Mukonzo to be ordained priest in the Roman Catholic Church on 14th December 1958, his Mass was attended by the then king of Tooro.
In his homily during the memorial Mass of late Msgr. Muhindo held at their ancestral home in Mughende village, Nsenyi ward in Kisinga town council this afternoon, the prelate asked relatives to keep the legacy of Msgr.Muhindo through championing education and building their family on a strong foundation of Christ.
