Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale, the Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese, has warned politicians against making empty promises and spreading hate speech but Instead, urged them to use this campaign season to sensitize the public on income-generating activities.
Bishop Kibira expressed concern over the rising levels of poverty among young people, noting that some politicians are exploiting the youth for selfish interests rather than helping them find avenues for sustainable livelihoods.
