    Bishop Kasese catholic Diocese Rt. Rev Francis Kibira Kambale has today donated five million, one hundred thousand shillings with a pick-up of Matooke to the Kasese district COVID-19 task force with a call for more assistance to the people in need during the current lock down.

    Handing over relief to the Kasese RDC, the Bishop Kibira who hailed Lt. Joe Walusimbi for good work done in coordinating assistance to the most hit people called for more donations to address the plight of the needy in Kasese district. Bishop Kibira speaking1………

    Addressing the press shortly after handing over relief food, Bishop Kibira listed the needy categories of people, including the street kids, orphans at the Children`s village owned by the Diocese of Kasese, God`s servants especially in the urban centers, as well as the single parents, the latest being a mother of four who came to his gate this morning for help.     The Bishop who said that some Church operations had been disrupted by the virus called for thorough analysis of the challenges caused by the virus by leaders for better approaches in future, including the promotion of the saving culture and food security among others.
