Rt. Rev. Serverus Jjumba, the Ordinary Bishop of Masaka Catholic Diocese, urged all Christians to remain faithful and committed to their respective vows.
He delivered this message during the quarterly Mass and gathering of the Masaka-Kampala residents Catholic Community at Bishop Ddungu Memorial Gardens in Nsambya.
Bishop Jjumba emphasized the significance of upholding vows, not only in marriage but also in religious life, priesthood, and consecrated life.
He expressed concern about the increasing disregard for these commitments and highlighted the importance of faithfully honoring them to reflect the purity and goodness of the Lord and His Kingdom.
Referring to the day’s Bible readings, Bishop Jjumba emphasized the call to live pure lives by eliminating hindrances to holiness.
Mr. Masembe Dominico, Chairperson of the Masaka-Kampala Catholic Community, expressed gratitude to Bishop Jjumba for his consistent support and attendance at their gatherings. END
