The Bishop Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale has today temporarily closed the diocesan administration offices until further notice due to the outbreak of COVID -19 in the country.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio, the Diocesan Vicar General Msgr. Landaus Bwambale who delivered the bishops message said the decision is in line with the presidential directive against COVID -19.
Msgr. Landus, asked believers in Christ to connect to the diocese on salient issues through phone calls and other means of communication.

Yesterday Uganda confirmed her first case of Corona virus, the health minister Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng announced case of a 36 year old Ugandan male who arrived from Dubai, on Saturday aboard Ethiopian Airlines at 2:00am.
During the screening process at the airport, Dr. Aceng said the patientās temperature was 38.7 prompting the health team to isolate him at the airport for further follow up.Ends
