The Government of Belgium has donated over 40 million shillings to Uganda Martyrs college-Kyondo in Kasese district to boost education.
The announcement was made yesterday by Belgium’s officer, Thomas De Vos from the Ministry of Foreign affairs, External trade and Development Cooperation.

The funds will be used to renovate the Kitchen, procure lightening arrestors, improve girl’s washrooms, incinerator and completion of two classroom blocks.
Speaking to our reporter shortly after attending a stakeholders meeting, Mr. Thomas who said Fifty students are on Belgium sponsorship, urged parents to embrace education as he announced plans of soliciting more funds for the renovation of the Laboratory and the remaining classrooms.
