The Kasese Diocesan Youth chaplain Rev. Fr. Joseph Tumusiime has asked the youth to strategically position themselves against being abused during the 2026 general elections.
He also asked the qualifying and able youth to contest or support their ready colleagues because the success or failure of Uganda is in their hands.
In an interview with our reporter in Kasese town last evening, Fr. Tumusiime who regretted what he called the commercialized politics in Uganda however warned the youth against acting as mere shields and ladders for selfish political leaders who end up engaging them in election violence.
