    Be professional through child study

    A primary teacher who fail to do child study contradicts the professional code of conduct, the head teacher for Kihara Primary school in Kasese Municipality, Mr. Julius Baluku Isebanzwekera has said.

    Mr. Julius said child study should be done both at school as well as with parents and guardians to ascertain the cause of either poor or good performance of the learner.

    Addressing staff at their end of term meeting held at the school main hall yesterday, Mr. Julius who called it a shame for any teacher who fails to get a single division one at the end of each term, called for constant sharing among teachers, parents and learners to guide the learning process for academic excellence.     Mr. Julius hailed teachers for impressing co-curricular activities at the school where two learners have been chosen this year to represent Kasese Municipal football and net-ball National competitions in Mbarara.

    Mr. Robert Bwambale, the chairperson PTA and Emmanuel Thembo representing school management committee, called for collaborated efforts among all education stakeholders to improve the performance and security at the school. Mr. Robert and Emmanuel speaking….
