Rev. Fr. Cosmas Baluku, the parish priest for Uganda Martyrs-Kakone parish in the Diocese of Kasese has called for selective expenditure of the hard earned money by the locals if they were develop.
He said whereas the economic situation was currently hard, it is worsened by some family heads who are not conscious of what to spend on.
In his homily at newly opened St. Augustine Kyameza Roman Catholic sub-parish Church in Muhokya sub-county, Fr. Cosmas who called for the promotion of the savings culture for future investments, asked Christians to spend wisely, educate their children, work against alcoholism and drug abuses that have otherwise derailed many families.
