By Peter Masereka,
Kasese Diocesan Xaverian Movement four days camp hosted by Nyakahya Parish, has closed with a call on the youth to be active in the Church ministry by involving in guiding activities and talk.
In his homily while presiding over the Holy Mass at Kituti Roman Catholic Church yesterday, the Kasese Diocesan Vicar General, Msgr. Landaus Bwambale who asked Xaverians to emulate their Patron Saint, Francis Xavier, argued them against drug abuse, immorality, pride and hatred among themselves but rather use the movement to fish for Christ.
In an interview with our reporter later, the Kasese Diocesan Xaverian movement chaplain, Rev. Fr. Joseph Tumusiime said the conference was mainly to guide members spiritually and physically, as well as reminding the movement about her role that among others require self-respect and love for others. The Diocesan Youth Chaplain further reaffirmed his earlier call for the young people to join church movements which he said will not only make their social capital but guide and fill them spiritually as well.
