Lt. Maate Magwara, the Deputy Resident District commissioner Kasese district in charge of Bukonzo County, has warned the Basongora community against internal bickering and divisionism.
He urged them to unite and work hard to develop their areas and improve their living and education standards.
Officiating at the launch of the first edition of the Kisongora cultural book, held at Kisasa village in Nyakatonzi sub-county last evening, which comprises of their cultural values and norms, Magwara described divisionism among the same tribe as hindrance to economic development, calling for positive mindset change.
