The Rwenzururu Premier, Rt. Hon. Joseph Kule Muranga has clarified that the Bakonzo-Bayira have Kingdom and not cultural institution.
Addressing the ridge leaders at Buhuhira primary school, the Rwenzururu Premier was quoted to have blamed the repeated frictions between the Institution of Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu and government to failure by the later to fully sensitize the Kingdom subjects about the type of cultural institution government recognized.
According to Mr. Muranga, most Rwenzururu subjects still perceived it has the former kingship that had boundaries among others.
