Mr. Baramu Baluku, a political contestant for the local council three seat for Central Division in Kasese Municipality, has warned political players against politics of identity.
He said it was paramount for political candidates to identify with the challenges faced by the voters, and the solutions they have than promoting political campaigns based on falsehoods.
In an interview with Kasese Guide Radio this morning, Mr. Baramu who pledged to lead in consultations with the local population, was optimistic that with the vibrant and analytical voters in central division, the NRM primary election on Thursday, will be peaceful.
Mr. Baramu, a man of the people ass referred to by his peers, called on the voters to support his candidature so as to get out with a competitive political leaders able to defend the NRM during the 2026 general elections.
He pledged to lobby for Saccos, boda-boda riders, saloon operators, school, roads and a master drainage system he said had frustrated the living conditions of his voters mainly in basecamp, Kidodo and the greater Katadoba among other areas. Mr. Baramu speaking…….
Earlier, his competitors; Mr. Amos Kabagambe and Mr. Deo Kabaka pledged support to the schools and women groups in mandated by the voters to lift the party flag. END
