The Kasese Division Police Commander, ASP Alfred Bagenda has pledged to support to the profession of journalism, without which community mobilization for security would meet challenges.
In an interview with this radio shortly after a friendly match between the media and the police in Kasese at Nyakasanga playground in Kasese Municipality, ASP Bagenda described the media as a fundamental tool for community and development mobilization.
Mr. Bagenda who said the match to commemorate the World Press day yesterday(04th.May.2022) was celebrate the relationship between the media and police, added that the forces will always be ready to individually use their professions to protect the rights of journalists for development.

Earlier at the journalists` celebrations at Virina gardens hotels, the Kasese Municipal MP, Hon. Ferigo Kambale warned media practitioners against prioritizing money than their professional call, a move he says partly soils their individual image and profession.
