Lt. Joe Walunsimbi, the Kasese Resident District Commissioners has reaffirmed his warning against absentee parenting he said was a frustration to the future of the children.
Addressing education stakeholders during the official handover of a class room block at Kirabaho SDA primary school in Kabatunda-Kirabaho Town council in Kasese district yesterday, Lt Walunsimbi also faulted parents for transferring their roles to their relatives in towns during holidays, a decision he described as unilateral and lacking in content.
Lt. Walunsimbi also asked parents and guardians to instil children with discipline, church morals and values if they were to succeed in future.

Mr. Benon Masereka, the school head teacher, had earlier appreciated government for the funds before listing lack of a fence, low water supply and inadequate number of pit-latrine stances as some of the major challenges at the institution. END
