A-35-year old woman was allegedly killed and one person abducted last night by unknown armed assailants in Nkoko Village, Kitswamba Sub-County Kasese district.
Rwenzori East Region Police spokesperson, SP. Luke Mbusa confirmed and identified the deceased as Betty Biira, a resident of Nkoko but hailing from Kisinga sub-county, while the injured aged 13 years a nephew to the deceased.

Mr. Harison Masereka 13, who sustained serious injuries and now hospitalized at Mt. St. Marys Hospital in Kasese town, told the deceased brother, Mr. Mubunga Harison Kekera that late Betty was hacked using an Axe and Pangas before she breathed her last. Mr. Kekera speaking.
