The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, His Grace Stephen Kazimba Mugalu has warned married couples against seeking solace and protection of their marriage vows from witch doctors.
Presiding over a thanksgiving service for Dr. Obed Kabanda and his wife Louise Kabugho at All Saints’ Church at Manyangwa in Gayaza in Wakiso district over the weekend, Dr. Kazimba who said witchcraft offer temporary solutions that turn canning in future, called for patience, humility and resilience among married couples if they were to live by Christ’s standards. Rt. Rev. Zebedee Masereka, the retired bishop of South Rwenzori diocese had earlier said respect for one another’s weaknesses, hard work, faithfulness and prioritizing Christ in all they do, had protected his fifty-six years marriage.
