The Papal Nuncio Emeritus Archbishop Augustine Kasujja has asked Christians to stop spending most of their time in churches and abandon work.
He said this while celebrating mass at Buhindi catholic parish in Rutoto sub-county in Rubirizi district during a thanksgiving ceremony organized by men from Buhindi Hika to raise money to buy land for the church.
He noted that much as the church is very important to Christians, they should also make their work places and homes priority , tasking parents to teach their children faith and guidance in the best moral values to avoid indiscipline and drug abuse.
The Parish Priest for Buhinda, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Bazigambira thanked the Archbishop for his commitment towards priesthood and for leading the campaign towards mindset change amongst parents and youth on issues of development. END.
