    Anti-corruption Unit scare new civil servants in Fort-portal city

    The Criminal Investigations Directorate, in conjunction with the State House Anti-Corruption Unit has summoned 21 newly recruited staff of Fort Portal City to facilitate an ongoing investigation into potential instances of abuse of office, forgery, and conspiracy to commit a felony. 

    The affected staff were expected to appear at CID headquarters today according to an August 23, 2023 letter addressed to the Fort Portal City Town Clerk. Mr. David Kyasanku, the Fort Portal City Town Clerk said he had communicated the CID’s message to the newly appointed personnel and anticipates their full cooperation. END
