The Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) says they have reject cash offers from homosexual groups that wanted the party to pledge to support their agenda in exchange for campaign finances.

Instead the party has launched a public fundraising drive to support its presidential candidate’s campaign so as to have Ugandans themselves to financially back a people-powered political transition.
The party also says they got offers from drug cartels which they also shunned.
ANT Secretary General, Hon. Alice Alaso has told this radio that the party’s recently launched open public fundraising drive to support its presidential candidate’s campaign, is a call on Ugandans to financially back a people-powered political transition.
According to Alaso, publicly seeking funds marks a strategic shift to ensure the campaign is financed by ordinary Ugandans rather than interest groups seeking to influence the next government.
ANT’s presidential flag bearer, Rtd. Gen. Mugisha Muntu is contending with other seven nominated candidates by the Electoral Commission (EC), including the incumbent President, Yoweri Museveni for the highest office of the country.
The party also promises land rights protection, transparency in recruitment in the oil sector, promoting tourism, disaster management, embracing environmental conservation, value-driven social infrastructure, addressing the quality of education and bridging the human resource gap in the health sector.
