The State Minister for Investment, Evelyn Anite, appears to have reached the end of her tether after storming out of the Cabinet retreat in Kyankwanzi and leaving the country for Canada.
Ms Anite faced a torrid time in Kyankwanzi after her campaign against corruption boomeranged in her face when her colleagues he called corrupt shut her down with a trail of her own dirty linen, including allegations of soliciting bribes from investors.
To make matters worse during one of the investors meetings in Kyankwanzi, Japanese investors accused Hon. Anite of demanding huge sums of dollars before she could take them to the President.
Last month, Minister Anite who is engaged to Uganda’s deputy envoy in Canada Allan Kajik, was left in tears during a stormy meeting at State House when President Museveni demanded answers following her clash with officials from Uganda Investment Authority led by its Director-General Robert Mukiza.
