The Ugandan ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Hon. James Mbahimba has retaliated against statements made by the Busongora County North Member of parliament Hon, William Nzoghu about the alleged delay in releasing of the Rwenzururu King and his royal guards.
Speaking over the weekend at the burial of Yona Thembo, a ridge leader in Maliba sub-county who died in Kirinyi prison in Jinja, Hon attacked the Kasese Deputy RDC, Mr. Joshua Masereka for having failed their attempts to have justice for the king and his subjects.
Addressing the press at JACA medical center in Kasese town this morning, Hon. Mbahimba described Nzoghu, s utterances as misleading, baseless and a promotion of cheap popularity aimed at satisfying personal interests.
Hon. Mbahimba said that if Hon. Nzoghu consulted thoroughly, he would be informed that the Buhikira attack suspects were reigned to court before the Rwenzururu King wrong requesting government for an out of court settlement of the case. Hon. Mbahimba speaking1….…..

Nzoghu to be peaceful in the way he presents issues of public concern and consult widely as a channel to reconcile the community that is currently healing wounds after several conflicts in the Rwenzori region.
