The Kasese District Chairperson, Mr. Eliphaz Muhindi has asked lazy civil servants to resign their positions than conflicting with the law.
He said he was disappointed that whereas there were limited positions in the civil service, privileged civil servants were misusing the opportunity; busy with personal roles even when they are getting salaries.
During his inspection of school yesterday, Mr. Muhindi told the education stakeholders at Nyisango primary school in Bugoye sub-county, Buhaghura and Kigoro primary school in Rukoki sub- County to promote professionalism, including having schemes of work, lesson plans, class room time tables and timely attendance by teachers.
Mr. Muhindi was also disappointed when some class at Buhaghura primary school in Rukoki sub-county told him they had not had any lessons by lunchtime. The learners speaking ……
Whereas most head teachers fronted lack of enough staff quarters as the reason for late coming, the furious Mr. Muhindi could not hesitate but to direct the head teacher and teachers of Buhaghura primary school to report to his office in person tomorrow without fail.
