Everything is set for the Uganda Martyrs Day celebrations, scheduled for tomorrow, at the Namugongo Catholic and Anglican Shrines, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.
Addressing the media shortly after inspecting both the Catholic and Anglican shrines today, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mr. Ocaya James, confirmed the readiness of the event, noting that preparations at both shrines are at 90%.

He also emphasized that security personnel are fully prepared to ensure the safety of all pilgrims.
Mr. Ocaya urged pilgrims to remain vigilant, warning them about individuals who may attend the celebrations with the intent to steal.
