    Agricultural standards in Kasese district.

    The Kasese district senior agricultural officer, Mr. Johnson Sabuni has asked agricultural extension officer to make a follow on individual farmers who continue yearning for technical health despite the Corona pandemic.

    Mr. Sabuni however asked his technical team to avoid crowds of any form but rather reach farmers individually for guidance for purposes of maintaining production which he said will partly save the situation in future. Mr. Sabuni speaking1…………

    He however said that the season for planting common food crops like maize and beans is almost running out but that farmers can concentrate on other crops like Bananas, sweet potatoes and cassava among others.

    Mr. Sabuni who said that the weather forecasts remains wet despite temporary hot spell revealed that they were sharing with the RDC on how the agricultural extension workers` motorcycles that were absorbed under the corona virus campaign can be returned to enable them reach farmers.     TheKasese district political Boss Mr. Geoffrey Bigogo asked his electorates now spending longtime at home over Corona virus threats to use the time for food production so as to save the district from another food emergence in future. Mr. Bigogo speaking………

    Mr. Bigogo had earlier however warned the public to collectively observe the preventive measures against the deadly virus as announced by President Museveni. END.
