High Court at Kasese has dismissed a case of aggravated defilement against 39 year old man Mr. Samuel Begumisa for lack of witnesses.
Court Presided over by Hon. Justice David Makumbi heard that on 17th July 2021 while in Kikongo cell in Kikongo-Rugendabara town council in Kasese district, the accused defiled a ten year old girl.
Speaking to Our Reporter shortly after Court yesterday, the defense lawyer, Counsel Luke Kanyonyi from Kanyonyi and Co. advocates said his prayer to dismiss the case was granted by court after the prosecution side failed to avail witnesses for the last three years.
