Mr. Jimmy Odyek Baluku, the Executive Director for Action for Community Development-Uganda (ACODEV-UG), has pledged continued support to orphans, Vulnerable children and their Caretakers mainly HIV/AIDS clients, following the renewal of their Memorandum of Understanding with the Kasese District Local Government.
The MoU was officially signed by Mr. Mustafa Kikusa, the Principal Secretary in the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, on behalf of the KDLG and Mr. Jimmy Odyek Baluku, the Executive Director of ACODEV-UG, at the district headquarters this afternoon.
Mr. Odyek explained that the three years’ project titled, “Stephen Luis Foundation” aims at supporting 150 orphans and vulnerable children, as well as their 150 caregivers in 300 households, in the four sub-counties of Karambi, Bwera, Nyakiyumbu, and Karambi in Kasese district.

Mr. William Bwambale Muthahinga, the Kasese District Community Development Officer, applauded ACODEV-UG for its continued partnership with government, calling for community support to development partners whose interventions have been instrumental in matters of development. Mr. William speaking…..
