The Acholi Paramount Chief Rwot David Onen Acana II is among the 221 Ugandans who returned home yesterday(02 July 2020), after being stranded for three months in various countries.
Rwot Acana who heads the Ker Kwaro Acholi Chiefdom was locked down in London, United Kingdom, where he had gone for personal business at a time when the world was enforcing travel restrictions to control the spread of corona virus Disease.
The Ambassador Alfred Naam, the spokesperson of the Foreign Affairs Ministry said that Rwot David Onen Acana, alongside 150 other Ugandans arrived at Entebbe International Airport aboard Ethiopian Airlines that also had on Board Ugandan cardiovascular surgeon Prof. Francis Omaswa, the former Chief Justice Benjamin Odoki and Tineyi Emmanuel Mawocha, the Chief Executive Officer for Opportunity Bank Uganda and former MP Onapito Ekolomoit.
