By Peter Masereka,
Kasese Cathedral Parish in the Diocese of Kasese has organized special prayers for the Kasese-Bwera highway travelers around Ekyababinga area in Kasese Municipality against what many community members perceive to be devilish powers along the stretch.
Speaking to our reporter in Kasese last evening, Rev. Fr. Ednus Mumbere, the Curate for the Parish confirmed and announced that a team of over five Priests, Religious men and women, were to lead the prayers aimed at ensuring the safety of travelers, some of whom have been victims of repeated accidents along the Kasese Roundabout-KCCL-Kirembe junction-Ekyababinga-Nyamirangara stretch.
He also said after the road side prayers, Holy mass is to be held at the filling station in Ekyababinga. Rev. Fr. Ednus speaking….
Mr. Alex Kanyangole, one of the organizers had earlier said that the prayers this Saturday, come after several testimonies that depict works of the devil, including women changing into animals among others.
Mr. Kanyangole speaking………
He called for continuous prayers and support by Christians for God’s powers to reign. END.
