    A Senior Agricultural officer Kasese district Mr. Johnson Sabuni has asked the people of Kasese to impress poultry and rearing of small domestic animals for food security that would assist them during difficult times like the on-going lockdown over Corona virus.

    He made the remarks in an interview this morning with Kasese guide radio at his home in Kasese town.

    Mr. Sabuni observed the need for people to begin rearing small animals like rabbits, junior pigs among others that take short time to be ready for consumption. Mr. Sabuni 1…….

    He said most people have always undermined certain Projects that require little capital like keeping Junior Pigs and depend on public goods but asked every household to quickly look at what they can produce by themselves. Mr. Sabuni two……..

    He used the same opportunity to ask masses to also plant vegetable crops and fruits in a bid to address challenges related to malnutrition among others. Mr. Sabuni three………..

    Over the weekend the Ugandan Ambassador to China, H.E Dr. Chrispus Kiyonga had asked Ugandans to priorities agriculture so that they can easily survive during such trying moment of deadly Corona Virus.
