The local leaders of Kirembe and Kidodo cells in Kasese Municipality have reportedly arrested a self-styled priest who has been extorting money from some unsuspicious members of the community.
The local council one Vice Chairperson for Kirembe cell in Kasese Municipality, Mr. Aganatiya Bwambale confirmed and said Mr. Benedicto Mapendo, the suspect has reportedly been extorting money from members of the community until Mr. Nelson Byamukama, a local resident of Kidodo openly accused Mr. Mapendo of failing to refund one million, five hundred sixty thousand shillings he had picked from him in a manner that seems suspicious. The Secretary for Kidodo cell in Kasese Municipality, Mr. Christopher Bwambale said the suspected impersonator was tricked for arrest after he failed to refund the money he falsely got from Mr. Nelson Byamukama after several attempts. Mr. Christopher speaking……..
