    A Patient who has been battling Covid-19 at Hoima Referral Hospital has been discharged.

    A Patient who has been battling COVID-19 at Hoima Regional Referral Hospital has been discharge.

    The patient who was admitted at the health facility on March 20, 2020, after she tested positive to COVID-19 had returned from Dubai and was identified by the COVID-19 task force in Hoima.

    Discharging the patient from Hoima COVID-19 Treatment Unit, Dr. Peter Mukobi, the Director Hoima Regional Referral Hospital says it is a milestone for health workers at the facility for having successfully treated the patient. Dr. Peter speaking……

    Mr. Samuel Kisembo, the Hoima RDC urged the community not to stigmatize, but support her to fully recover from a situation he said was really a total test. Mr. Samuel speaking……

    The patient was also awarded a discharge certificate from the health ministry. END
