Kasese District Council has approved a motion to construct a one and half kilometer road in Kisinga subcounty to be named after the fallen Hon. Moses Bwambale Kifalo for his great contributions to Kasese district.
The late Hon. Kifalo 42, the former Kasese district councilor representing Kisinga subcounty has left his council seat vacant after his instant demise following a road accident in Muhokya town council, along the Kasese-Kikorongo highway.
A district council sitting presided over by Hon. Johnson Mayora, the Speaker at Nyamugasani Primary school during the final sendoff of the deceased, unanimously agreed to construct the road that stretches from late Kifalo’s residence at the Kikorongo-Bwera highway in Kiburara, via Kiburara Primary school, to the Kiburara-Kisinga main road.
In his address to council, the district Vice chairperson, Mr. Ham Natuhwera described the deceased a hardworking and community focused young man whose water accessibility to the Nyamugasani community and food security plans to the local people should be championed by the district secretary for works and technical services.
