A young mother delivered of her baby last night is currently sitting for her Primary Leaving Examinations at Kasangali Seventh Day Adventist primary school today, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.
Mr. George Mayinja, the Kasese district Principal Education officer confirmed that sitting for her national examinations also is an expectant young mother in Bikunya parish in Karambi subcounty who was picked from a health facility.
Mr. Mayinja who appreciated the efforts of the teachers and parents said, the two kid mothers were being monitored by health workers who have been deployed at the two schools.

Meanwhile, UNEB has given special permission to schools that don’t have examination center numbers to hold exams in their respective schools in areas where cases of Ebola were confirmed especially in greater Kampala, Mubende and Kasanda districts.
A total of 832, 810 candidates are expected to sit this year’s PLE from 14,153 examination centers all over the country. END
