The Body of a sixty five years old woman late Amina Kyomotima who was reportedly murdered by unknown people over the weekend was yesterday(13th September 2020) laid to rest at her ancestral home in Kakindo cell Mbumuro ward in Maliba town council, Kasese district.
Speaking to our reporter shortly after burial, the Maliba sub-county chairperson Mr. Abdu Saad who strongly condemned the act, said the deceased was strangled by yet to be identified assailants and later thrown in river Kithakena.

Mr. Saad said police is investigating the matter before appealing to the local community to provide information about suspected criminals behind the sudden death of late Amina, a prominent business woman in Maliba sub-county.
The Chairperson LC 1 Mbumuro ward, Mr. Alex Asaba attributed increased criminality to drug abuse and alcoholism among the youths.
