One suspected Mai-Mai militia operative from reportedly DR Congo has been shot dead and his five colleagues arrested by the Uganda people Defense Forces in Kasese district.
Lt. Mathe Magwara, confirmed to Kasese Guide Radio this morning that the yet to be identified suspected Mai-Mai operative was shot dead near Kiraru as he avoided arrest by the UPDF when he and his colleagues currently under Uganda security detention, crossed to Uganda in fear of the cross gun fire, back home.
He said the detainees also include a wounded operative whom his colleagues were crossing with to Uganda for medication before the UPDF rounded and arrested them. Lt. Magwara speaking1…….
