    A Forty-Eight-year-old woman arrested for child trafficking in Kasese

    Police in Kasese is holding a 45 year old woman on allegations of child trafficking of a three year old minor in Kigoro two cell, Kasese Municipality.

    Rwenzori East Region Police spokesperson, Supretendant of Police, Nelson Tumushiime confirmed and identified the suspect as, Ms. Suzan Muhindo, resident of Kisondo village in Bugoye sub-county, Kasese district.

    An eight year old minor, testified to our reporter that his young sister was picked by two women disguising to take the baby to their mother who was doing casual labor in Mubuku irrigation scheme.

    Ms.Goergina Mbambu, said her daughter was dumped near her home by the suspect after weeks of search but in vain.

    Mbambu narrated that the life of her child has deteriorated.
