    A daughter-in-law beats up her mother-in-law in Kitoro cell, Kasese Municipality

    It ended up a failed attempt by the local community members and leaders of Kitoro cell in Kasese Municipality to compel Ms Naume Mbambu to apologize for beating her mother-in-law over what many locals call minor issues.

    Though Naume blames the old woman for joining a misunderstanding she was not consulted about, Ms Rose Katusiime and Jenifer Biira, both married mothers described her as indisciplined, wondering how she could beat her elderly mother in law over a quarrel she began with her husband.

    Mrs. Christine Muhindo, a visiting mother from Maliba subcounty said on hearing bitter word exchanges between the two lover birds, she requested her money she had kept with her son the previous evening before her daughter in law pounced on her, only to be rescued by Seventh day Adventist Christians from the neighboring Church and the local community members.
