A country without God is dead, the State Minister for National Guidance, Hon. Godfrey Kabyanga has said.
In an interview with Kasese guide radio in Kampala yesterday, Hon. Kabyanga said the Uganda motto, “For God and my Country“, is a clear manifestation that Uganda is built on God`s foundation that must be used rightly in implementing government programs.
He later described the faith based institutions as a key determinant in the implementation of government programs, notably the Parish Development Model strategic which Mr. Kabyanga described as the last nail hit against poverty at household levels.
Hon. Kabyanga who commended the faith based institutions for their massive investment in the areas of health and education in the country, asked them to own and sensitize the Parish model Development program that improve the incomes of the community but enable them to have what to offer to God.
