    A 68 year old woman dies at a prayer center in Kasese

    Local leaders and the interviewed local residents of Kendahi cell, Hima town council in Kasese district seem suspicious about the operations of a prayer center in their area where a 68 year old woman died about a fortnight ago.

    Hima police was forced into investigations over the starvation allegations of Ms Yoneck Masika who later reportedly died in her sleep under suspicious circumstances.

    The Kendahi lower cell local council one chairperson in Hima town council, Mr. Fred Sebagala was concerned that the encamped Christians spend most of their days working for the Church, leaving most of the nights for what he called un common approaches to prayers to receive the Holy Spirit.     A neighbor to the prayer centre who asked not to be identified, described as hectic the manner in which the Christians work for the un identified Church despite the fact that the Church Pastor reportedly helps some of his believers` children in school. A neighbor speaking……

    Pastor Yosia Watsema, the head of the prayer center said he doesn’t conduct Sunday services before revealing that the prayer center establishment was forced by those in need of Spiritual help after leaving his employment at Kagando hospital. Pr. Watsema speaking1…..

    Ms Aida Biira, an in-law to the late 68 Yoneck Masika of Katooke one village in Bugoye Sub County said the deceased could come to her home to pick goats, domestic birds and food reportedly as offertory for years before receiving bad news of her demise. Ms. Aidah speaking…….

    To Pastor Watsema who believes the deceased couldn’t have died of hunger, said the ever weak Ms Yoneck slept well as usual after praising God the previous evening, before dying in her sleep. Pr Wastema2….

    Late Yoneki Masika who was buried at her marital home in Katooke one village in Bugoye subcounty. May her soul rest in peace. END.
