    A 48 years old woman was this afternoon knocked dead by a speeding vehicle in Rusese Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council in Kasese district.

    A 48 years old woman was this afternoon knocked dead by a speeding vehicle in Rusese Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council in Kasese district.

    The chairperson local council three for Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council Mr. Selevest Mapoze confirmed the information and said the truck a fuso registration number UAX 620 Q knocked their motorcycle on which the deceased was travelling on with a boda-boda rider.

    Mr. Selevest Mapoze who regretted the two accidents today asked the drivers to always drive at a low speed and be responsible for other road users. Mr. Selevest Mapoze speaking…..

    Meanwhile, the Isango subcounty chairperson, the late Agaba Wilson Isekalombi will tomorrow be laid to rest at his home in Kyampara one village in Isango subcounty, Kasese district.

    While speaking to Kasese Guide radio reporter this afternoon, the Bwera local council three chairperson Mr. Emmanuel Masereka said the standing programme is that the deceased will be laid to rest tomorrow at 12:00pm amidst tight security which will allow only 25 closest relatives during the send off.

     However after this security command, people were this afternoon allowed to view the body and paying the last respect at Kyampara church of Uganda after causing a council session at Kyantale primary school for the same. Mr. Emmanuel speaking……..
