    A 35-year-old man is arrested for allegedly killing his father.

    Police in Kassanda district has arrested a 35-year-old man identified as Joseph Mugerwa for allegedly killing his father, one Enock Sennyonga, a resident of Kigalama village in Myanzi sub-county.

    The deceased’s body was found in a house that had been knocked down by unknown people.

    Inside the house, was a sharp blood-stained knife and an axe a few metres away, with the residents suspecting that the assailants used the instruments to kill the deceased and hit the house to create an impression that he was killed by the falling walls. Nakigalama residents speaking..

    Jane Nakaayi the village vice chairperson says that the suspect and the deceased lived in the same house but the son was allegedly not home when the tragedy occurred though the two have had conflicts for been some time. END
